While visiting Bremerton WA, we were celebrating my son and daughter-in-laws anniversary. Asked them to pick out a nice restaurant. They chose La Fermata which they thought was a new restaurant. Not new, they've been around for 20 years.
Before going, I checked out Yelp to see what other thought. They thought 4 and 5 stars ... and so did I.
Service was great. Restaurant was clean and comfortable and lets not forget the food. It was amazing. For an appetizer we shared crispy egg plant (this was to me ... mini eggplant parmesan) .. excellent. I chose the rack of lamb (ok, not so Italian) but it was amazing cooked to perfection as were the accompanying vegetables. My son had the chicken cacciatore ... I've never seen this made with a chicken leg/thigh ... but it fell off the bone and was delicious. My daughter in law had pasta.
The three of us shared a single chocolate decadent dessert .. so rich that the three of us couldn't finish it. But it was sooooooo good.
This place is a little pricey, but worth it for the celebration. Great for "date night."
Would I go again ... absolutely. -

We returned last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The place has the same low key cozy ambiance service was excellent and the food fantastic! I had the pork tenderloins and Jeanie the rack of lamb, both prepared to perfection. We shared the antipasti plate for an appetizer it was so generous we didn't finish it. And, speaking of generous, the Manhattan cocktails were large enough that two is a practical limit otherwise I advise UBER!
It was a wonderful evening out and I am happy to tell you it is still one of the best kept secrets here about.
Lastly, I don't think it is $$$ expensive, our four cocktails (called brands not well drinks) the app and 2 entree's was less than we've spent in Seattle for one and the food; well honestly it was better. -

I took my wife here for her Birthday dinner. The waitress took great care in ensuring we had a great table; she was very attentive, courteous and as I had arranged and on cue she brought my wife her birthday surprise. Thank you for making it special. I will definitely recommend and return for another dinner.

Date night y'all!
We went here for a birthday, 4 of us and we all enjoyed it! We started with the burrata which was mild and creamy and DELISH! I actually loved the bread and oil they served before dinner. The herbs they add to the balsamic are spot on!
Our entrees were just okay. My hubby has the halibut, I had the saltimbocca, and a couple of dishes. The saltimbocca was not great, it was basically sauceless, but the veg on the side was delish. The halibut was also okay, but needed a little crisp or sear in the outside, it seemed like it was baked or steamed, and kind of mushy. Everything tasted great, though. Looking forward to going back.
